What meal sizes do you offer?
We offer "full size" menu items that serve 4-6, and "half size" items that serve 2-3.
Does my entree come with side dishes?
Some of our yummy meals come with rice, pasta, potatoes or bread. Make & Take Meals is trying to provide our families with the main entree so that you can personalize it with your own side dishes -- maybe your famous salad, fresh grean beans, etc. This also allows us to keep our prices reasonable.
How many entrees can I prepare?
If you schedule a session to build your own meals, we require you to prepare a minimum of 3 items. If you require less than 3 items, feel free to shop from our pre-assembled items stocked in our Grab & Go section, which will contain fresh and frozen entrees.
How much time will I save by using Make & Take Meals?
By preparing 12 meals per month, we estimate that it would save you a total of 20-30 hours each month. We eliminate the hours you would spend trying to figure out what to cook (menu planning), grocery shopping, reading recipes and preparing ingredients -- not to mention cleaning up. Take those 20-30 hours and spend quality time with your family!
Can I get my entrees to go?
Yes, you can! You can register online or call for a pick-up order. If you need us to leave out the onions or garlic, we will! There will be a nominal assembly fee per item if we prepare them for you. Just let us know when you can come by and pick up your entrees.
What do I need to bring with me to a session?
Not much -- we make this as easy as possible for you. We provide all the pans and bags needed for your entrees. All you need to do is bring a cooler or laundry basket to tote your completed entrees home.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you schedule a session, but are unable to attend, please contact us and we will reschedule you for another time, or we will assemble your items for a minimal charge per entree.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit card payment online and instore, debit cards, checks and cash.
What is the best way to defrost my entrees?
The proper way to defrost any frozen food is to store it in your refrigerator for 24-48 hours so that it can thoroughly defrost. DO NOT DEFROST FOOD BY LEAVING IT ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER AT ROOM TEMPERATURE! This may save time, however, it also allows for bacteria and spoilage, so we DO NOT recommend this method.
